By connecting the USB to 485 analog slave to the 485 to profinet gateway, a slave device can be simulated and communicate with the gateway.

Brief introduction of the case:

This case is a configuration case of connecting a series of frequency converter and PLC with Wuxi Netson RS485 to PROFINET gateway. The equipment used is Siemens S7-1200PLC, RS485 to PROFINET gateway and the frequency converter required on site. After the GSD file is installed, locate the RS485 to profinet gateway module at the following address. Set the IP address and device name of the RS485 to profinet gateway. The ip address must be in the same network segment as the PLC. Assign input and output bytes to the RS485 to profinet gateway.
Download the configuration to the PLC, set RS485 to profinet gateway parameters, open the RS485 to profinet gateway configuration software, and set the IP address and device name of the PN terminal, which must be consistent with the Botu configuration.
Set serial port parameters for each port of the RS485 to profinet gateway according to the device instructions.

Right-click on the consumer to add the required data format, and add the corresponding data length according to the manual data format, taking 16 bytes as an example.
The second subnet is also set up in this way, but the memory mapping address must be downloaded from 16, and the information can be read at the corresponding I address

Sending mode:

Send select producers in producer and consumer mode.

You can also select Clear and hold for timeout offline actions.

The sending mode is divided into periodic sending; Data change sending; Send once after startup and trigger data change.

1. Periodic sending:

Send according to the interval set by the sending delay below. Fill in the data in the base of 10ms and multiply it by 10ms.

Data change send:

When the data of any bit of the Q address of the PLC changes, the data will be sent to the next machine, and then stop sending until the next data change.

2. Send once after startup:

After the gateway is powered on, data is sent once. The sending time is affected by the sending delay as well as the periodic mode.

3. Trigger data changes:

The mode of sending the data after the change of the specified position triggers the position data to be sent once on each side, and the sent data can contain or not contain the departure data itself.
