Beijing, China, January 25, 2018 - Schneider Electric today announced that it has signed a global collaboration agreement with Nozomi Networks, a global leader in industrial cybersecurity and operational visualization. Under the agreement, Schneider Electric and Nozomi Networks will jointly provide customers in the industrial manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors with advanced anomaly detection, security vulnerability assessment and other cybersecurity solutions and services to help users control, prevent and mitigate risks affecting their operations and business performance.

Nathalie Marcotte, senior vice president of Industrial Services and Cybersecurity at Schneider Electric, said: "The transformation the industry is undergoing is giving customers the opportunity to improve performance in ways they never thought possible, but it also requires increasing and deepening the level of connectivity across all aspects of their operations to better collect, correlate, analyze, and use massive amounts of data. However, the increased level of connectivity will also increase the scope of cyber attacks on enterprises. Therefore, the passive response to network security can no longer meet the needs of enterprises. Whether it is for the financial and operational aspects of a company, cyber security is of great importance. "The addition of Nozomi Networks to Schneider Electric's partnership will enable us to better help our customers understand and address the risks and threats to their operations and assets, while mitigating the potential impact of these risks on their business."

Combine industry-leading cybersecurity services and solutions

The partnership will help Schneider Electric more proactively respond to the demand for effective, operational-grade technical cybersecurity services, solutions and expertise in the oil and gas, power, building automation and other industrial sectors. Schneider Electric will also provide customers worldwide with Nozomi Networks' advanced network recovery and real-time visualization operations solutions for industrial control systems. Schneider Electric will combine its EcoStruxure Industrial iot process automation and industrial control solution with Nozomi Networks' SCADAguardian real-time visual operations platform, including:

Advanced ICS Cybersecurity solution: This all-in-one solution will provide customers with a deeply visualized network and a comprehensive, highly scalable solution that meets the needs of operators in the operational technology cybersecurity industry. The Nozomi Networks SCADAguardian solution will provide Schneider Electric customers with accurate asset inventory, superior threat detection and flexible and scalable deployment options.

• Nozomi Networks Certified Consultants: Schneider Electric consultants around the world will continue to be trained as certified engineers by Nozomi Networks to support customers throughout the implementation of their cybersecurity solutions and provide expert operational technology threat capture and forensic analysis services.

• Schneider Electric delivers SCADAguardian Live experience: Customers can experience Nozomi Networks' real-time visual operations and cybersecurity solutions through Schneider Electric's "Live Threat Scenarios."

EcoStruxure is Schneider Electric's iot based, plug-and-play, open and interactive architecture and platform. Edgard Capdevielle, CEO of Nozomi Networks, said: "With years of experience in various industries, Nozomi understands the complexity of industrial control system networks, while constantly innovating and enhancing its expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The result is Nozomi Networks SCADAguardian, a more comprehensive, scalable and complete product in its class. "By partnering with Schneider Electric, we can not only better protect our global infrastructure, but also improve safety, efficiency, reliability and profitability at critical operating points around the world."

The partnership reinforces Schneider Electric's commitment to taking a defense-in-depth approach to preventing and minimizing cyber attacks, as well as developing a multi-layered, multi-technology strategy to protect critical systems.

Nathalie Marcotte added, "Digital enterprises need a more holistic approach to continuously evaluate, manage and monitor their business and operating systems in addition to providing security for their customers, and Nozomi Networks' solution enables this seamless operation." Addressing cybersecurity head-on cannot be limited to one company, one sector or one region, so Schneider Electric is committed to an open, transparent and collaborative approach to helping the global industry prevent and respond to cyber attacks. As this partnership demonstrates, Schneider Electric will continue to strengthen its partnerships with industry leaders who have the technology, expertise and unique skills needed to ensure the safety of our customers' people, production safety and profits."
