On the road of promoting the green development of the port, Huichuan technology has taken a solid step again! Recently, we worked with Hebei Port Group Caogang Group intermodal terminal to successfully develop and test run the country's first set of pure electric self-propelled high and low voltage shore power system. This innovative measure not only solves the problems existing in the traditional fixed shore power equipment, but also provides clean and environmentally friendly "shore power" for ships with multiple advantages such as efficiency, convenience and space saving, helping the green port construction to reach a new milestone.

In the face of many challenges brought by traditional fixed shore power equipment, such as structural impact, long construction period, high cost and conflict with dock production and operation, Huichuan Technology, as the general contractor and technical support core of the project, has in-depth insight into the pain points of this industry, relying on the deep accumulation in the field of power electronics and industrial automation and digitalization, provides a full range of solutions. Introduced this innovative pure electric self-propelled high and low voltage shore power system.

The system is like an "on-call" power supply specialist, bringing unprecedented convenience to terminal operations. The system uses the existing 10 kV high voltage as the power source, and is equipped with a number of quick connectors and low-voltage terminals that meet international standards, which can flexibly switch between 6.6 kV /60 Hz (or 6 kV /50 Hz) and 450V/60 Hz (or 400V /50 Hz) according to the voltage requirements of different ship types. This design cleverly meets the power supply interface requirements of different ship types from 3,000 tons to 250,000 tons, fully demonstrating the strong applicability and flexibility of the system.

The self-propelled mobile shore power system is based on a pure electric AGV and equipped with a fixed length cable coil, which not only improves the fault-tolerance of the berthing position of the ship, but also makes the use of the ship shore power system at the dock more flexible and greatly improves the utilization rate of the shore power system. At the same time, the system also has excellent environmental adaptability, through the use of high IP protection level of the insulated cabin body, can be stable operation in high salt spray, high humidity, mining dust and other harsh environments. In order to ensure the heat dissipation requirements of the equipment, each set of equipment is equipped with an air duct type high static pressure air conditioning unit to provide sufficient cooling capacity for the equipment.

In terms of monitoring and management, Huichuan technology is equipped with an unmanned operation and maintenance system and adopts private network privatization management, so that the staff can grasp the operating status of the equipment in real time at the remote end and realize remote monitoring and management, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of the shore power system.

It is worth mentioning that the self-propelled mobile shore power system realizes integrated shipping through modular integrated design, which not only ensures zero waiting for the construction of shore power system, but also does not affect the production process of bulk cargo operations, and maximizes the efficiency of dock operations. In addition, the system also significantly reduces the number of cables, and cost-effective solution to the shortage of reserved line pipelines at the dock. At the same time, we successfully solved the problem of installing the dock socket box, eliminating the conflict between the construction of the shore power system and the actual dock production. More importantly, through the multi-point multi-control technology of the shore power system, we have realized the demand for simultaneous power consumption of one to many berths, and further improved the operational efficiency of the terminal.
