The IS200TCASH1ACB is a terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe family used in GE distributed turbine control systems. The IS200TCAS terminal board provides client terminals and signal routing to BCAA and BCAB boards. The TCAS accepts a 28 V large capacity control power supply through a P5 connector. It then supplies power to the JGPA board at the shielding terminating position of the input cable via connector P4. TCAS offers P1 and P2 68-pin connectors for IS200TCAT terminal board cables. Inside the module, the TCAS terminal board routes the signal to the connectors of the BCAA and BCAB analog processing boards.
Features:The TCAS terminal board provides six pairs of LVDT excitation signals: LVDTEXH1_R/LVDTEXL1_R to LVDTEXH6_R/LVDTEXL6_R. These excitation outputs are connected to the primary side of the LVDT position sensor.
The primary side signal is 3.2 kHz sine wave excitation with a amplitude of 7.07 V RMS. The LVDT secondary side signal amplitude is proportional to the position change in the valve. The LVDT secondary side is connected to one of 12 TCAT terminal board LVDT input signal pairs: LVDT1H/LVDT1L to LVDT12H/LVDT12L.
The TCAT terminal board is used to fan LVDT signal pairs to TMR PCAA groups: PCAA (R), PCAA (S), and PCAA (T) via wiring. The BCAA acquisition board provides signal conditioning, converting the RMS voltage on the secondary side of the LVDT into A DC equivalent signal read by the processor via an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter.
PCAA Module Overview: The Core Analog (PCAA) module serves as a central hub for processing analog signals that are critical to gas turbine operation. It supports a wide range of input and output functions, including thermocouple input, 4-20 mA current loop I/O, seismic input, linear Variable differential transformer (LVDT) excitation and input, pulse rate input, and servo coil output.
Versatility of system configuration: The PCAA module has versatility in system configuration and is suitable for simplex, duplex and triple module redundancy (TMR) systems. This flexibility allows seamless integration into various control system architectures, meeting different operational requirements and ensuring compatibility with different system configurations.
