The Allen-Bradley 1756-L61S ControlLogix controller module provides scalable controller keys to handle multiple I/O points. You can set ControlLogix controllers into multiple slots in the ControlLogix I/O chassis and install multiple controllers in similar chassis. The ControlLogix controller is also capable of monitoring and controlling I/O above the ControlLogix backplane and network links. The ControlLogix 1756-L61S controller has a root Ethernet port for direct connection to Ethernet-equipped devices and networks, and supports communication interface modules in the local chassis.
