Manufacturer: Reliance Electric Series: AutoMax PLC Part Number :57552-4 Product Description 57552-4 is a Universal Drive Controller module (UDC) for Distributed Power systems, originally produced as part of Reliance Electric AutoMax systems.
The 57552-4 is a Universal Drive Controller module (UDC) for distributed power systems. It was originally produced as part of the Reliance Electric AutoMax system.
The 57552-4 is a user programmable control system that uses a microprocessor to control AC and DC drives in real time. It has 256 kilobytes of non-volatile read/write flash memory 512 kilobytes of volatile SRAM and 4 kilobytes of double-ended C JSRAM. The module enables a cystone link to connect to two different PMIs. It can be inserted into the AutoMax bracket assembly, using only one slot. Up to 10 UDC modules can be inserted into a single rack, which means that a single rack can now control up to 20 drives. It enables multiple buses to communicate with processor modules on the rack.

The 57552-4 is a user-programmable control system that uses a microprocessor for real-time control of AC and DC drives. It has 256 KB of non-volatile read/write flash memory, 512 KB of volatile SRAM, and 4 KB of dual-port SRAM. The module is capable of connecting to two different PMIs using fiber optic links and can be inserted into the AutoMax bracket assembly, occupying only one of its slots. Up to 10 UDC modules can be inserted into a single rack, which means that a single rack is now able to control up to 20 drives. It can also communicate with processor modules on the rack using multiple buses.
In addition, the 57552-4 module has the following features:
Automatic configuration: Can automatically configure unconfigured modules. If the module is present but not working during automatic configuration, the module will not be configured and the CPU will generate an additional module message. If the automatic configuration stops when the first empty slot is encountered, the module after the empty slot will not be automatically configured. For each of these modules, the CPU generates an additional module message. During automatic configuration, previously configured modules will not benefit from the new configuration.

High performance: with the characteristics of high-speed data transmission and low latency, it can meet the needs of real-time control.
Flexible scalability: It can be seamlessly integrated with other industrial automation equipment to achieve the integration of data collection, processing and control, and has good scalability to meet the growing business needs.
Long life and low maintenance costs: The use of high-quality materials and components, with a long service life and low maintenance costs, can save costs and resources for enterprises.
In short, the 57552-4 is a powerful and stable programmable control system module for a variety of applications requiring real-time control.
