The GE Fanuc IC200MDL241 discrete input module is a 16-channel discrete input module for Versamax I/O and control systems. The 16-point input module receives the signal from the AC input device and transmits it to the common end for processing. Signals from buttons, sensors, switches, and other input devices are received as 2-state discrete signals (on/off) and transmitted to the CPU module as 16-bit discrete input data for intelligent processing. The compact design of the IC200MDL241 input module provides the same flexible and cost-effective I/O solution as large PLCS. The IC200MDL241 input module is mounted on a DIN rail supported I/O carrier base with bite terminals to help simplify field wiring and support hot swapping.
The IC200MDL241 input module provides 16 non-isolated logical/source inputs divided into 2 groups of 8 channels each. The IC200MDL241 input module obtains all power supplies from the midplane and does not require a power module provided by the user. It draws a maximum operating current of 110.0 mA from the backplane at 5.0 volts. It has an operating voltage rating of 240 volts AC (nominal value) and an operating voltage range of 0 to 264 volts AC. It also has an on operating voltage range of 155 volts AC to 264 volts AC and a off voltage range of 0 to 40 volts AC. The IC200MDL241 input module has no point-to-point isolation, but there is a maximum isolation of 1500 volts between each group for 1 minute. The IC200MDL241 input module has 1 LED indicating backplane operation and 16 individually labeled leds indicating the status of each input point. The module size of the IC200MDL241 input module is approximately 4.3 x 2.63 x 1.9 inches.
