IC693MDL241 | Discrete input module | It has sixteen (16) output channels

No.IC693MDL241
Manufacturer: GE Fanuc
Manufacturer: GE Fanuc (former); Emerson Automation (Current)
Part number: IC693MDL241
Product Description: The GE IC693MDL241 module has a minimum on-current of 3.2 mA, a maximum on-off current of 1 amp, and a response time of 28 ms when off and 12 ms when on. When the current passes through the input point, the result in the input status table is logical 1 (%I). The operator can supply the power needed to run the field equipment, or use an isolated 24-volt DC output voltage source as the power source for the DC input. The GE Fanuc IC693MDL241 provides an LED on/Off status indicator for each point on the top of the module. The LED block hosts the LED in 2 horizontal rows, each with 8 green leds. The top LED rows from A1 to A8 are labeled as points 1 to 8, while the bottom rows are labeled as points 9 to 16 from B1 to B8.

Product Description: Discrete input module
The IC693MDL241 is a discrete input module in the 90-30 series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) series. The module has sixteen (16) output channels in one output group, with a common terminal. It operates in the input voltage range of 0-30 VDC or 0-30 VAC, while the module is rated at 24 VAC / 24 VDC. The module supports wiring of binary or on/off or dual state input devices such as limit switches, push button switches, proximity switches, auxiliary contacts and similar devices. The IC693MDL241 is equipped with two (2) rows of LED status indicators that describe the power-up of each input channel. The input channel that actively receives 7 mA input current at rated voltage has activated its corresponding LED. In addition to LED indicators, module plugins are available in which short descriptions or input labels can be written to facilitate identification of input channels. The module is compatible for installation on 5-socket or 10-socket baseboards of 90-30 series PLC platforms. The on-voltage rating for the input channel is 11.5-30 VAC/VDC, while the off state voltage is 0-4 VDC/VAC. Similarly, the maximum conduction current is 3.2 mA and the maximum turn-off current is 1 mA. The module has an on signal conversion delay of 12 ms and a off response time of 28 ms. When all inputs are in the logical 1 state, the module is rated for 80 mA @ 5 VDC and 125 mA from the isolated 24 VDC backplane bus or user-supplied external power supply.

The IC693MDL241 module is a positive/negative input module manufactured by GE Fanuc and is part of the 90-30 series PLC system. It is rated at 24 volts AC/DC and has a set of 16 input points, all of which are located in a common power input terminal. The module is designed for use with input power supplied by AC or DC operators, so it can have positive or negative logic characteristics in DC input mode. These input characteristics apply to a variety of user-supplied input units, such as buttons, electronic proximity switches, and limit switches. The IC693MDL241 module has an input voltage range between 0 and 30 volts AC or DC at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hz, with a typical input current of 7 mA at rated voltage. It has an on voltage of 11.5 to 30 volts AC or DC and a off state voltage of 0 to 4 volts AC or DC.
