The GE Fanuc IC697CPU731 CPU is part of the GE 90-70 series component product line and can be connected as a PLC or programmable logic controller system. It is a single-slot CPU, which means that it only needs to be installed in 1 slot of the PLC backboard to stay firmly in place and operate properly. The IC697CPU731 CPU is designed to process data received from up to 512 inputs and outputs that can be arranged in any mix. It can also support 8,000 analog I/ OS. The microprocessor used by this CPU is a 186C12C12 microprocessor rated at 80 Mhz. Data and program storage in the IC697CPU731 CPU can be configured by the user.
