Manufacturer: General Electric
Series :Mark VI Speedtronic
Part number: IS200BPVCG1BR1
Functional acronym :BPVC series
Function Description: Backplane ASM interface
The IS200BPVCG1BR1 is a PCB component used in GE's Mark VI series. The Mark VI series is one of the later Speedtronic systems. GE has spent more than three decades researching and developing Speedtronic systems to create a reliable, scalable, complete solution for managing heavy-duty steam and gas turbine systems. Mark VI uses the latest technology and integrated proprietary software to create optimal turbine management systems. This includes a PC-based HMI (Operator Interface) that runs software such as GE's CIMPLICITY graphics.
The IS200BPVCG1BR1 is a backplane designed to accommodate and support rack systems with multiple boards. The back half of the board is equipped with 21 female backplane connectors. When placed in a rack system, this section of the board will be surrounded by high walls that will support the connecting plate and lock it into place. Another part of the board is used to house the input/output connectors and is designed to be exposed outside the rack system. This enables the operator to easily connect the ribbon connector and its cables to the circuit board. There are 39 I/O connectors that allow data to be transferred between boards connected to the backplane. The IS200BPVCG1BR1 also includes 14 prick connectors and 6 resistance network arrays. There are another 30 components on the bottom of the board. They are labeled L1 through L30. The board is marked with the manufacturer's logo and board number.
