1746-A13 SLC500 chassis Provides 10A@ 5.1VDC

The Allen-Bradley 1746-A13 is an SLC500 chassis. It has thirteen (13) slots that provide backplane connections and housing for the SLC500 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) module. This case has eight (8) mounting clips that can be mounted directly to the cabinet panel. The chassis measures 50.2 x 17.1 x 14.5 centimeters (20.1 x 6.8 x 5.8 inches) and weighs 1.9 kilograms (4.2 pounds).
The 1746-A13 is equipped with eight (8) mounting latches for mounting the case directly to the subpanel of the case. When mounting the module to the subpanel, the appropriate screws are M4 or M5 (#10 or #12) Phillips screws. The recommended minimum clearance is 15.3 cm (6.0 in) at the top and >10.2 cm (4.0 in) at the side. When used with rack extension cables such as the 1746-C7, the minimum spacing is 7.7 to 10.2 cm (3.0 to 4.0 in).

The 1746-A13 measures 50.2 x 17.1 x 14.5 cm (20.1 x 6.8 x 5.8 in) and weighs 1.9 kg (4.2 lb). The electronic circuits connected to the managed backplane are capable of providing a maximum backplane current of 10A@ 5.1VDC and 2.88A@ 24VDC. The case is designed to operate in a temperature range from 0°C to +60°C (+32°F to +140°F). In addition, the spare 1746-A13 chassis can be stored in an appropriate storage area with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F), a relative humidity of 5-95%, and no condensation.

The 1746-A13 is a UL certified industrial control device, certified in the United States and Canada, CE compliant, and compliant with the Australian Rediocommunications Act. It applies only to environments identified as Class I, Zone 2, Group A, B, C, D, or non-hazardous sites.
