The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6I is an isolated analog voltage/current input module. It has six (6) independently isolated inputs and is part of the ControlLogix system. The module requires a 20-pin 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH detachable terminal (RTB) before it can be connected to the input signal. You can provide two data formats for 1756-IF6I: integer mode and floating-point mode. It has 16 significant bits, and you can choose from a range of operations which you want to use for each channel on the module. The available ranges and their respective resolutions are as follows: +/- 10.5 volts has 343? Volts/count, 0 to 10.5V has 171? Volts/count, 0 to 5.25 volts there are 86? Volts per count, 0 to 21 mA is 0.34? A/ Count. The underrange/overrange detection function is activated when the work of the isolated input module exceeds the limits set by the input range. The use of modular analog-to-digital converters eliminates line noise in every channel in the application. Since each filter time affects the module's response time and the highest frequency notch filter Settings, limit the effective resolution of the channel. Remember to select the notch filter that is closest to the expected noise frequency. In addition, the filter has a digital filter that smooths the noise transients of the input data on each input channel.

Real-time sampling (RTS) is another feature of the 1756-IF6I. When configuring the module, you need to set the message interval (RPI) period of the request and the real-time sampling (RTS) period. After setting these parameters, the module will scan its input channels and collect all available data, after scanning, the module will multicast the data. It also has a break detection function, which is triggered when the wire is disconnected from the channel or RTB is removed from the module. In addition, the 1756-IF6I is equipped with a rate alarm function for applications using floating-point mode. This monitors the rate of change between input samples. Each channel that exceeds the specified trigger point for that channel generates an alert. Process alerts also exist, which are triggered when a module exceeds the upper or lower limit of the configuration for each channel.

The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6I is a ControlLogix analog input module. The module has six (6) individually isolated analog input channels. The module is designed to receive ±10.5V, 0-10.5V, 0-5.25V and 0-21 mA with a 16-bit resolution. Each channel has a built-in input signal quality detection function for monitoring and reference signal quality control.
