The 1756-PA75R is a redundant power supply. This power supply functions similarly to a standard power supply, except that this module is mounted outside the case and paired with a redundant power supply partner with the same directory number.
The 1756-PA75 is primarily used for redundancy operations and enables automatic chassis load sharing between redundant power pairs. It also has a separate status indicator to indicate the operation of the power pair. It also has a solid-state relay that provides a contact output that can be used to indicate power status when connecting signal devices.
To build a redundant power pair, a pair of power supplies or two (2) 1756-PA75R, two (2) redundant power cables are required. For example, 1756-CPR2, 1756-CPR2D, and 1756-CPR2U, one (1) redundant power chassis adapters and optional signaling devices with directory numbers 1756-PSCA2, 1756-PSCA2K, or 1756-PSCA2XT, For example, it is used to monitor the running status of power modules.
The 1756-PA75R operates in the input voltage range of 85-265VAC, 47-63 Hz, nominal values of 120VAC / 240VAC and 50/60 Hz. Its input power requirement is 120VA / 115W, at 0... +60 °C (+32... +140 °F) provides A rated output power of 75 W and a current capacity of 1.2 A at 1.2 VDC; 4A for 3.3VDC; The value is 13 A for 5.1VDC and 2.8 A for 24VDC. When installing a signaler device, the recommended signaler is 240VAC 50/60 Hz, 240V DC, 50 mA, resistance-only.
