The 1769-OB32 is a high-density module equipped with thirty-two (32) output channels isolated in two (2) groups of sixteen (16) channels. 1769-OB32 occupies a 32-bit register. With access to module registers, monitoring or I/O coercion can be enabled to support debugging of components.
When wring out this module, use 22-14 AWG wire sizes for solid wires and 22-16 AWG wire sizes for stranded wires. Install this module next to any adjacent Compact I/O modules. Ensure the connection to the backplane by ensuring that the mounting latch is properly aligned.
