• Optional fiberglass guard, or steel protective door (for panel mounting) to meet environmental protection installation requirements and IP65
Hazardous area permits to be approved, including CSA (Class 1 Zone 2 - although the monitor cannot be installed in Class 1, it supports sensors installed in Zone 1 through insulation and barriers), ATEX
(Zone 2), CE and GOST (IEC Ex)
The 1900/65A Universal Device Monitor is designed to continuously monitor and protect equipment used in a variety of applications and industries. The monitor's low cost makes it an ideal solution for general-purpose machines and processes that can benefit from continuous monitoring and protection.

input
The 1900/65A offers 4 sensor inputs and 4 temperature inputs. The software can configure each sensor input to support 2-wire and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors, or proximity sensors. Each temperature input supports type E, J, K, and T thermocouples, as well as 2-wire or 3-wire RTDS.

exportation
The 1900/65A offers six relay outputs, four 4-20 mA recorder outputs, and a dedicated buffer output. Users can use the 1900 configuration software to configure relay contacts to open or close according to the OK, Alert and Danger states of any channel or combination of channels, and to provide data on any variable from any channel on any logger output. A dedicated buffer output provides a signal for each sensor input. A Modbus? The gateway option allows the monitor to provide static variables, status, event lists, time and date information directly to any Modbus client, including distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and Data acquisition (SCADA) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCS), or System 1* software. The monitor uses internal counters and Modbus client/master time references to generate time and date information. Users can upgrade the display by ordering the 1900/01 communications upgrade without the need for a Modbus gateway (see Ordering Information section). The 1900/65A supports Modbus communication over Ethernet and software-configurable RS232/485 serial ports.
