The Allen-Bradley 2094-PRS6 is a slim power rail with six inverter slots or shafts on which the drive module is mounted. These 6 axes have a converter shaft. The 6-axis power rail is 3-dimensional and measures 49.02 cm (19.3 in) x 40.89 cm (16.1 in) x 19.56 cm (7.7 in). The 2094-PRS6 weighs 3.55 kg (7.8 lb).
If double-width IAM modules are used (such as 2094-BC04-M03-S and 2094-BC07-M05-S), four inverter slots are occupied because they occupy two inverter holes in the power rail. Axis modules such as 2094-BM03-S and 2094-BM05-S are also filled with dual inverter slots. The converter slot is located on the far left of the power trace and is used only by IAM. Other slots are inverter slots.
The 2094-PRS6 is only suitable for 230V or 460V drive systems that require 6 shafts (inverter holes). Therefore, when selecting the power rail, the user needs to determine the minimum number of shafts required to install the rail mounting module. The system should not be turned on before installation and wiring, as the connector terminals retain some voltage even after the system is turned off.
