Allen-Bradley 2097-V34PR6 is a servo drive belonging to the Kinetix 300 series of Ethernet I/P indexing servo drives. The driver is used for motion control over Ethernet I/P networks and supports seamless integration with programmable logic controllers (PLCS), such as MicroLogix 1400 controllers and LoGIx-based controllers. Includes CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. Compatible linear and rotary drivers and actuators for this Kinetix servo drive include Kinetix MP and TLY rotary motors, Kinetix MPAI Heavy-duty electric cylinders, Kinetix MPAR electric cylinders, LDAT series linear thrusters, LDC Series ™ linear motors, LDL Series ™ linear motors and Kinetix MPAS integrate linear platforms.

The AC input voltage requirements for the 2097-V34PR6 are 3-phase, 320-528V rms, 3-phase and 480V nominal supply voltage. It also has a safe torque off feature. The output current and power of the driver are 8.5A and 3.0kW respectively.

For CompactLogix controllers, Allen-Bradley's integrated architecture system can be used.

The 2097-V34PR6 Kinetix indexing servo driver supports installation of I/O terminal extension blocks connected to the driver's embedded 50-pin IOD connector, memory module for automatic driver replacement, line filter for power line noise cancellation, shunt resistor and encoder module.

For UL applications, this frequency converter must be fitted with appropriate line protection, such as Busmann fuse with catalog number KTK-R-10 (10A), micro circuit breaker with 1489-M3C100, and self-protecting CMC motor protection CB with catalog number 140M-C2E-C10.

The 2097-V34PR6 fuses with 480V AC CC and T current-limiting Bussman fuses and provides short circuit protection using a 480V (140M-F8E-C20) full-constant circuit breaker and 480V DC/AC coil contactor. The drive has a 50-pin I/O (IOD) connector for mounting I/O extension terminals and requires an EEPROM module to back up the drive's configuration. When in operation, it has a maximum power loss of 99W (dissipation) and can operate optimally in a temperature range of 0-40 degrees. Degrees Celsius (32-104 degrees Fahrenheit) and relative humidity is about 5-95%. The 2097-V34PR6 is designed to be installed at heights up to 1500m without derating, and can maintain optimal function at 15G operating shock and 2.5G vibration at 5-200Hz. The 2097-V34PR6 weighs about 1.8 grams (4 pounds) and measures 238 mm x 68 mm x 230 mm.
