The 2711-T10C15 is a PanelView 1000 color terminal with a touch screen interface. The display is an active matrix thin film resistor (TFT) with a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCF) backlight with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a screen size of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in). The screen has an embedded touch sensing unit that enables the touch screen interface of this HMI device. The individual dimensions of the touch cells are 26 x 30 pixels, for a total of 384 touch cells spread across 384 (24 columns x 16 rows). To exchange data with partner automation devices such as programmable logic controllers (PLCS), the 2711-T10C15 comes with an embedded ControlNet communication port that supports the ControlNet industrial protocol.
