The output voltage provided by the system is proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface, and both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values can be measured. The main applications of the system are vibration and position measurement of liquid film bearing machine tools, as well as Keyphasor* reference and velocity measurement-3.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system offers state-of-the-art performance in our vortex proximity sensor system. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5 meter system is also fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 standard (4th edition) in terms of mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy and temperature stability.
All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity sensor systems offer this level of performance and support full interchangeability of the probe, extension cable and Proximitor sensors without the need to match or calibrate individual components.
