The 3500/15 is a high voltage AC/DC power module developed by Bently Nevada. This component is a half-height module and must be installed in a specified slot on the left side of the rack. This component is used as a power module for the Bentley Nevada mechanical condition monitoring system. Traditional 3500 AC power supplies, high voltage AC PIM, and low voltage AC PIM are not compatible with general purpose AC power supplies and PIM (power input module). Traditional 3500 high voltage and low voltage DC power supplies and PIM are not compatible with traditional 3500 high voltage and low voltage DC power supplies and PIM.
3500/15 features
One or two power supplies with any combination of AC and DC can be installed in the 3500 rack. The entire rack can be powered by either power source. When placing two power supplies into the rack, the power supply in the bottom slot is used as the primary power supply, while the power supply in the higher slot is used as the backup power supply. If a second power supply is installed, it is used as a backup to the first power supply. As long as a second power supply is installed, removing or inserting either power module will not affect the operation of the rack. AC and DC power supplies accept a variety of input voltages and convert them to voltages that other 3500 modules can use. The 3500 Series mechanical protection system is equipped with the following power supplies:
