Desciption
The Allen-Bradley 5069-L330ERM is a CompactLogix 5380 controller. The controller is part of the Logix 5000 controller family. It has 3 MB of user memory, supports up to 31 local I/O modules, integrates two (2) Ethernet communication ports and one USB port interface. The controller supports up to 256 motion axes and sixteen (16) CIP drive axes.
The compact design of the 5069-L330ERM allows it to be mounted horizontally on DIN rails only. Never use DIN guides made of inferior or non-conductive materials, as DIN guides also provide ground connections. Galvanized chromium steel DIN guides or EN50022 DIN guides measuring 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in) are recommended. Detachable terminal blocks (RTB) are also required to end the MOD and SA power connections. Suitable RTB kits are 5069-RTB64-SCREW and 5069-RTB64-SPRING. The controller has an open housing, which means it needs to be fitted with a panel to keep industrial contaminants such as grease, oil, water, corrosive gases, and other materials out.

The 5069-L330ERM dual Ethernet I/P interface supports fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet speeds of 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gbps, respectively. In addition, up to 60 Ethernet nodes can be connected, 32 socket connections can be established, up to 256 motion axes and 16 CIP drive axes. The CIP driver connection can be composed of any combination of CIP driver, virtual, consumption, regenerative AC/DC converter and non-regenerative AC/DC converter shaft.

The embedded user memory of this controller is 3 MB, with 2 GB of user memory, provided by the 1784-SD2 secure digital (SD) card, which acts as the controller's non-volatile memory.

Its integrated CIP drive shaft has up to 16 axes and also supports Ethernet /IP dual IP mode and linear /DLR mode. Programming languages for the 5069-L330ERM controller include Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Sequential Function Diagram (SFC), and Structured Text (ST) languages. The controller can also handle all event triggers, up to 1000 periodic programs per task and up to 32 continuous tasks. The controller has A maximum module power bus or MOD power current of 450 mA, a maximum rated current of 9.55 A, and a surge current of 850 mA for a duration of 125 ms. It also has the same MOD power supply through voltage range and 18-32V DC voltage range. The maximum rated current of its sensor actuator or SA power bus is 9.95 A for DC power, 9.975 A for AC power, 10 mA for DC power, and 25 mA for AC power. It also has the same through-voltage range and field power voltage range, up to 125V AC at 0-32V DC, 0-240V AC (47-63 Hz) and ATEX/IECEX.
