The EMC1600 is a 16-disc chassis specifically designed to house and power selected EtherWAN media converters and Ethernet extenders in a 19-inch rack housing.
The hot-swapable design makes it easy to install, add and remove EtherWAN media converters and Ethernet extenders without interrupting existing communication within the chassis. Each bracket is electrically isolated from each other and has fuse overcurrent protection for unprecedented reliability. Redundant Internal power supplies provide power redundancy and load sharing. Ac power input is supported, enabling the EMC1600 to be used worldwide. With its rugged metal housing, standard 19-inch rack mount, and two-unit height design, the EMC1600 is ideal for interconnecting different networking media and extending Ethernet beyond its boundaries.
