The RTD Input interface module (FBM03) contains eight resistance temperature detector (RTD) input channels. Each channel accepts 2 - and 4-wire RTD or 3-wire RTD sensor inputs in the 0 to 320 ohm resistance range. A 3-wire RTD cannot be mixed with a 2-wire or 4-wire RTD in the same module. This module performs the signal conversion required to connect the electrical input signal from the RTD to the redundant fieldbus. This module is of the main type and is connected independently
