The IC693BEM341 is a FIP bus controller module in the 90-30 series Programmable Logic Controller (PAC) family, formerly manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation and now owned by Emerson Automation. The module comes with two (2) 9-pin D-shell connectors, Factory Instrumentation Protocol (FIP) support for 2.5MHz data rate and an RS485 communication port for firmware upgrades. The module can be used to connect to the 90-70 series through the configuration of the DIP switch. It features four (4) LED status indicators, such as a CD1 / CD2 carrier detector LED and an LED that supports TEN1 / TEN2 transmission.
