The module features eight 4-20 mA output channels that receive power from a 24V system power supply via a backplane edge connector. Loop power can also be supplied to the module through the backplane, with each channel fusing 24V separately. When the system is powered on and the module communicates with the DPU, a green LED marked "Active" lights up at the bottom of the front panel of the module. This LED blinks when the DPU is not scanning the module. The second green LED provides a state where the loop power fuse is disconnected.
