The chassis features a high-bandwidth, full-hybrid backplane that provides 12 GB/s or 24 GB/s system bandwidth, 16 hybrid slots and one PXI Express system timing slot. Hybrid connector types in each peripheral slot provide maximum flexibility in instrument module placement. In addition, it integrates all the features of the latest PXI specification, including support for PXI and PXI Express modules, built-in 10 MHz reference clock, PXI trigger bus, and PXI star trigger for PXI modules.
