The National Instruments SCXI-1102 series 32-channel amplifier modules are designed for high-precision thermocouple measurements. They use a common architecture, with each input channel consisting of an instrumentation amplifier and a 2 Hz low-pass filter. With this architecture, you can scan the NI SCXI-1102 analog input channels as well as those of other modules at rates up to 333 kS/ s (3 μs per channel). You can also scan for cold-end compensation sensors and other input channels. The SCXI-1102 can also collect current input signals at millivolts, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA. Each module can multiplex its channels into a single DAQ device channel, and you can add modules to increase the number of channels.
The SCXI-1600 USB data acquisition module can be used in conjunction with this module to create a fully plug-and-play USB data acquisition system.
