The TG-13 (8516-038) is a turbine mechanical hydraulic governor with the following features:
Screw speed setting range is wide, 1200-2400 rpm, rated speed down to 2010 rpm.
The drive shaft rotates clockwise for ATEX position.
The governor has a 16N·m (12 ft-lb) counterclockwise rotating output terminal.
The governor is suitable for applications where synchronous (constant speed) operation is not required, such as pump compressor/turbo expander pressure and inlet extraction fan generator.
It has a low cost speed drop control function, and is designed with a clockwise drive shaft and weatherproof structure.
Individual sump and NEMA A speed control.
Designed for harsh environments, certified by HAZLOC and ATEX regions.
In addition, the TG-13 (8516-038) governor can be used with a variety of WOODWARD spare parts, such as 5501-467, 5466-316, 9707-018, 9707-838, 5466-258, 5501-471 and 8237-1006.

TG-13 (8516-038) Mechanical hydraulic governor is a device used to control the speed of steam turbines, it usually has the following functions and characteristics:
Speed control: By adjusting the inlet or exhaust gas of the turbine, the speed of the turbine is controlled.
Load control: TG-13 (8516-038) can automatically adjust the output power of the turbine according to the change of external load to keep the load stable.
Fast response: can quickly respond to control signals to achieve real-time output control.
Programmability: The TG-13 (8516-038) supports programming, allowing users to customize output logic and control strategies according to specific needs.
Safety: TG-13 (8516-038) has overspeed protection, low oil pressure protection and other safety functions to ensure the safe operation of the turbine.
Easy to install and maintain: Modules are compact in design, easy to install, and generally have good maintainability.
Compatibility: It can be compatible with various control systems and equipment, and adapt to various working environments.
